eSIM Setup Guide
Follow these step-by-step instructions to install and activate your eSIM. Select your device and preferred setup method below.
Confirm your device supports eSIM

Check compatibilityOpen Your eSIM Detail Page
After purchasing, you'll receive a confirmation email with a link to your eSIM detail page — open that page on the iPhone where you want to install the eSIM.
Tap the Activation Link
Tap the eSIM activation link on the detail page. Your iPhone will automatically recognize it and show an "Add eSIM" prompt.
On iOS 17.4+, the link is recognized natively. On older versions, it may open a webpage with a QR code to scan instead.
Confirm Installation
Review the carrier details on the prompt, then tap Continue or Add Cellular Plan to begin the installation.
Wait for Activation
The eSIM profile will download and activate automatically. This usually takes 30 seconds to 2 minutes.
Configure Your Lines
Give your new eSIM a label (e.g. "Travel"). Set it as the line for Mobile Data and keep your primary SIM for calls.
Enable Data Roaming for your eSIM line before you travel — Settings → Cellular → your eSIM → Data Roaming.
